Bio

Andrew Winnegar is a graduate of the University of North Texas and the University of Wisconsin-Stout obtaining his MS in Vocational Rehabilitation. Andy spent his career in the field of vocational rehabilitation working in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and Montana with independent living, community rehabilitation, public schools and as Deputy Director for Program Development and Support for the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for twenty years. In that capacity, he served as Principal Investigator for many innovative federal grant programs including the director of the New Mexico Technology Assistance Program, youth transition model programs, small business development, and Native American projects and American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Programs. Andy works as a consultant for the SW-ADA Center, San Juan Center for Independence, the Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Training Institute and other non-profits and government agencies.
